    Hello from Idaho!

Hi everyone. Been lurking around for awhile and doing some research while snatching up parts for my Grendel build. Thought I'd register and say hi. I'm sure I'll have questions as I get this thing built so thanks in advance. I'm new to the 6.5/.264 caliber, have grown up using .308/win mag for more of my longer range shooting but am really curious about this round. So thanks everyone good to meet you all!

Welcome aboard. You get performance very similar to .308, with half the recoil, and fits in an AR15, but with less wind drift.

          Welcome to the Horde.

I have been a .30 cal advocate for over 40 years.
My .308s mostly stay in the safe and I take the Grendel

Hey thanks everyone. I dig my 308 for sure. But when I heard I can get a flatter shooting half the recoil round out I got excited! Had to build one. About the asking before ordering thing. Weeeelllll... Kinda have all my parts showing up between yesterday and mon. And I can't wait to build it.
