took it to the range shot a box of wolf steel and some hand loads, hand loads were 28gr xbr with nosler 123 CC chronographed at ave 2200 out of the 12.5 inch barrel,wolf grouped about inch and a half at 50 yards handloads were a little under an inch was just running a milspec trigger and mostly function testing, all rounds chambered and fired and cycled the action but failed to lock the bolt back on an empty mag most of the time so probably a breaking issue as everything is new

on a side note one of the wolf steel case rounds cracked upon firing which was odd.... has anyone else experienced case failure with wolf steel this was my first time shooting it

Wolf - I have now shot about 1500 rounds, no cracked cases or anything weird. I had a couple FTF's, but determined it was a bad ASC 25 round magazine. They have been good to go, and good out to 450Y so far.

Can someone that has one of these please measure the exact length from the front of the upper at the rail to the barrel shoulder at the threads? Need to get my handguard ordered and want to make sure the can fits. Thanks!

The gibbz I posted earlier is 11.38" and just a hair long.... plan for 11.2 or less if your can is larger than the ID of the hand guard if you are doing direct thread. Muzzle device attachment will add length.
