Work In Progress: My 6.5G so far

So this is pretty simple still, but I've got pretty much all the basic stuff taken care of. I just need to get the rest of the upgrades ordered in.

So far this is what I've got

    Upper:
    AA 6.5 Grendel upper
Sharps Bolt w/Maximum Firearms Bolt Assembly
    Lilja 19" AR319 barrel with 1:8 twist
    Custom 17.75" machine forged handguard
A2 Flash Hider (I have a comp that I may put on, but IDK yet)
    Odin adjustable gas block.

As for optics, I'm putting my Viper HST 6-24x 50 on it.

I have a VLTOR BCM ambi-latch charging handle coming in.

    Lower:
    Spikes normal Lower

I'm going to be replacing quite a bit on the lower. I'll show that off once I get everything put on it.

Looks great. For stocks, the Magpul ACS might be good for you. Also, the Daniel Defense stock would be a great match for that.

I haven't listed everything that's going into the lower as I haven't gotten them ordered in yet, but I'm going to put these on it.

            Luth-AR Carbine stock,
Debating on a CMC, Rise Armament, Timney, or Black Rain trigger. I like the Rise Armament it's $100.00, but is a crisp 3.5 lbs, but I may want to go with an adjustable so the Black Rain might be better.

@BluntForceTrauma: I met a guy at Shot Show last year who was trying to promote his handguards to some of the smaller companies at the show. I've talked with him over the last few months about his stuff and I had him make me a handguard that would fit 19" barrels. His name is Aaron Khechum and he doesn't have a site yet, but hopefully he will. He makes some good handguards and they are all made in the USA, so I decided to give them a try for this build. I'll get the exact stats of it and post it up. I'm sure he wouldn't mind having people looking at his stuff.

Well I've got it all the components completed. Now I just need to get it up state to get painted. I'm going to go with either the Kryptek Highlander pattern, or the Badlands Approach pattern. Either one will be great for the Sage/Desert.

So here is the complete List of what was used.

                Upper Receiver-
                Scope- Vortex Viper HST 6-24x50
                Scope Rings - Vortex CM-202 2" offset
                Alexander Arms 6.5 Grendel Upper
                Lilja 19" AR319 Barrel
                Custom 17.75" Hanguard
Muzzle Device - I have no idea, found it in my parts box
                Gas System - Odin Works
Maxim Firearms Bolt with Sharps Bolt Carrier
Mil-spec Charging Handle. I have a VLTOR one coming in.
                Harris 9-13" swivel bipod

                Lower Receiver-
                Spikes Punisher Lower
CMC 3.5 LB Single Stage straight trigger with KNS Anti-Rotation pins
                Luth-AR Carbine adjustable Stock
                Spikes LPK
                Spikes T2 buffer kit

I kind of cheated on cost since I am a buyer for a sporting goods store, but this minus the scope is a sub $900.00 build. Retail I think it'll be around $1300-ish.
