I saw a advertisement for Wolf Precision Arms had partnered with Anderson Manufacturing to offer a 6.5 Grendel upper to shoot Wolf steel cased 6.5 Grendel ammo. The Wolf upper had a 16" M-4 style barrel and handguard. There was a single top rail gas block. The upper looked just like the Anderson 6.5 Grendel 1 upper on the Anderson Manufacturing web page.
I got mine from Ventura Munitions last week, looks pretty good to me for an inexpensive upper, not at all like the one pictured in the original post. Upper is a US made forging with forward assist and deflector.
Just saw the Wolf Grendel Upper over at AIM for $399.95, for the cost seems like if it shoots at all it would be a good starter upper.
They have WOLF 6.5 GRENDEL 100GRN FMJ AMMUNTION for $4.79 a box of 20.

I'm curious if Wolf chose the compound throat .300 neck SAAMI chamber for their barrel since it is marked 6.5 Grendel (not Grendel 1). The bolt Anderson uses is .135 and not .136 like SAAMI but still only .001 difference. I sent a Facebook question reference barrel specs to Wolf Performance ammunition and optics and got a response to check their web site. Last time I checked Wolf's web site they had no information on the 6.5 Grendel upper.
