I got in on the group buy. The best money I have ever spent.
My experience is limited to these, but I am thrilled with how they work and they were quite a bit less than the sound gear
UPDATED AS OF DECEMBER 9 JADE Precision store is up and running. We have added the most popular Athlon scopes that have been ordered from us over the last few months, and the Etymotic Research ear pro. Here is the link. http://www.jadeprecision.us What: Group Buy for Etymotic Research EB-15LE electronic, in the ear, earKnowing everthing isnt as important as knowing where to find it.

I missed the group buy. Kinda sorry. I have never hunted with anyone who uses hearing protection. I have hunted with people whom don"t hear well. The more anecdotal reports I see, the more likely I am to buy a pair... My only thought s to improve the product is to put MOLLE straps on the case

To tell you how sensitive mine are, when I release my charging handle it will mute the sound of the bolt locking up.Knowing everthing isnt as important as knowing where to find it.

I never use ear pro when hunting. I don't know anyone who does. The key is never to use a rifle with a brake or comp. That's a mistake I made ONCE. I now have a suppressor, and have used it on every hunt this year except for muzzle loader season; but I'm sure from time to time I'll want to hunt with more traditional non-threaded rifles, and have no issue doing so.
