    Hunting hearing protection

After getting tinnitus from an antelope hunting trip, I got a pair of these, anyone else try them?

I like the idea and price point.. Maybe MOLLE straps on the case would be more useful then a belt clip. Perhaps I'll buy a pair for my daughter for Christmas.

I got in on the group buy. The best money I have ever spent.

My experience is limited to these, but I am thrilled with how they work and they were quite a bit less than the sound gear

I bought a pair last year. Did not like the silicone ear plugs so went to my local audiology dr and got the electronics fitted to custom molded plugs. Cost about $75 but was well worth it.

I missed the group buy. Kinda sorry. I have never hunted with anyone who uses hearing protection. I have hunted with people whom don"t hear well. The more anecdotal reports I see, the more likely I am to buy a pair... My only thought s to improve the product is to put MOLLE straps on the case

I used walker game ears this year on my deer hunt. Saw nothing, shot nothing, hearing would have been just a safe without the game ears. Hopefully that does not continue to be the pattern.

Maybe. Until the guy next to you fires off a round.

I can sit and have a normal conversation while not having to worry or I can flip it to hi and hear a mouse fart.

To tell you how sensitive mine are, when I release my charging handle it will mute the sound of the bolt locking up.

Silencer plus electronic ear defenders is the way to go

I never use ear pro when hunting. I don't know anyone who does. The key is never to use a rifle with a brake or comp. That's a mistake I made ONCE. I now have a suppressor, and have used it on every hunt this year except for muzzle loader season; but I'm sure from time to time I'll want to hunt with more traditional non-threaded rifles, and have no issue doing so.
