Two of us (Paul and "Texas Brian") were using Grendels that ran very well.
We got onto hogs 3 times during the evening. The fact that it was daylight savings time gave us an extra hour of hunting, which was beneficial. I actually made it home in time for breakfast!
The first two hogs we got onto were just the preliminary/practice hogs for the sounder later that night. By that time, we had most of the kinks worked out and got some good video.
This was a hunt for eradication purposes, but 9 of the hogs did get used for food. It is a shame we didn't get the entire sounder as they had really trashed the field. It was a real hazard to simply walk through.
I guess I won't be using one of those should I ever get the chance to hunt hogs in Texas.
