    Same ammo for both. AA has 10.5" Grendels that cycle existing ammo just fine, and have had them from the start.

      You have a chance to run those across a chronograph yet? Just curious as I just completed a 12" and haven't had a chance to get out yet.

        From other reports, Hornady 123gr ELD-M Black factory was 2280fps from a 12".

        David Fortier's 12.5" Grendel shot Alexander Arms 123gr Scenar at 2330fps in 30˚F temps many years ago, recorded over an Oehler 35P.

          Thanks. Being in remote SE AK I have limited options and wondered. I have a fairly good stash of factory 123 SST and a couple of hundred for loading. We're moving south in July. I'll miss AK, but it will be nice to have ready access to ammo and loading components.
