I don't like carrying two rifles down in order to night hunt. My primary mission is normally deer hunting, we see hogs during the day, but a lot at night. I wanted to add a removable rig to shoot hogs with the same rifle at night.
I picked up a Bushnell Equinox Z with an AR scope mount. I added a quick detach mount for the picitinny rail and a laser. I shot one hog with it and saw a lot of deer moving at night.
The big surprise was how the hogs reacted to that green laser. They immediately bolted! I got one, but they new something unnatural was up. I was still learning the Bushenell and didn't record the hog hunt.
For learning, I recorded playing with a little Black Buck doe. I thought it was pretty funny. Just goes to show, they definitely see a laser.
