I'm starting a Grendel build for what I hope will be an accurate long range gun. I'm thinking 20" barrel. Ranier has 22" Ultramatch barrels. Does anyone have experience with these. I've seen lots of barrel brands mentioned here but not Ranier.

If you do a search you will find a couple of threads on these barrels but no one posting any real experience with them. Middle of last year there was a thread started that involved guys who had ordered a few of these barrels but sent them back to Ranier because they found out it wasnt a SAAMI chamber. For this reason I decided not to go that route. I have been intrigued by this barrel since they came out with it though and wish someone would give it a try. -
The Ranier Ultramatch is very pricey. For less money I will go with a 20" Lilja which is a known quality.Comment
