Reason: Should have read the linked thread in Op's 1st post
12.5" SBR Grendel - Need Barrel
Surge - Rugged Suppressor
Been a fan of the Grendel from the very beginning and haven't second guessed that choice one time.
The 85 gr is on its way. The proprietor of Maker has already tested the 85 gr and showed that it fits the Grendel velocities nicely:
Opening up to .40 cal at 1660 fps and staying together at 2600 fps.
He is sending me a 95 gr version that will also open up to about .40 in the 1600s and retain nearly all of its weight at 2600 like the 85 gr shown above.
I think Sneaky and BFT should be happy with either of these.
We are up over 200+ hogs with the Cavity Back MKZ's.
A bunch of deer, elk, coyote etc with multiple calibers.
All show the same thing.
Greater expansion (2.5 times caliber or more), 99% retention, ability to push faster than any comparable solid of the same weight, more blood loss, faster more humane kills. Sub MOA accuracy confirmed to a 1000 yards. Once you try them you will be hooked.

Ah.. Just so you guy know. Some of us want the lighter, shorter bullets so we can put more powder behind them. And push them through stronger bolt action rifles. And hopefully end up with better PBRs.

Then you should try my 105 grain. The Cavity allows more powder as well as working very good with longer OAL loadings.
