    Good 1x-? scope

Hey guys first I want to say that I really appreciate all the help I got on my last thread about bdc scopes and the grendel. Im leaning towards just a simple 1-4 setup with no BDC now, but I just wanted to bounce it off some more experienced guys. All I want to do is be able to ring steel at 500 yards and also have a 1x for CQ. Maybe run a carbine course. Just some all around reccomendations would be welcome. Thanks alot

Vortex and swfa both have 1-6x that i think would work.

Best one I have looked through is the Vortex Razor but it is quite pricey, dang nice scope though.

I have a Vortex Strike eagle and it does ok, optics not as good as the Razor and if getting another one it would not be the FFP version

Super Sniper from SWFA is another good one.

An idea on pricepoint would be helpful.

I like the Leupold VR-X 1.25-4x20. Super light weight with nice features. Motion sensors for off AND back on. Also the Firedot is not overpowering.

I have a Leupold Mark AR mod 1 1.5-4 firedot on a 458 socom 12 inch AR pistol that has performed flawlessly. that platform and caliber has tested the ability to take abuse and its the perfect amount of magnification for such a short range caliber. probably have around 1500 rounds thru it so I will call it good.

                    Really happy with Steiner P4xi

Choose "see our low price" and it is $485. Glass is great

No just need someone with a way to help me with bullet drops with 6.5. One will be going on my 12" faxon when it comes in

Thanks guys. Alot of those scopes have BDC retlicles that wouldnt work with the grendel. Which I dont like because its just cluttering the optic with no benefit. Do you guys still use the drops for closer ranges, or should I just go with a simple red dot sight. If thats the case, do you dial in your range? Ive never shot anything besides a ACOG so im not familar...

I'm saving right now for the new trijicon 1-8 x 28 accupoint. I have a leupold 3x9 vxr on my 16" grendel now but we put a strike eagle on my brother's new build and that convinced me the 1x variables are the way to go.
