    Long Gun 6.5 AR15

For those of you who've already seen mine in the Newbie section, please forgive the repetition. I built this gun a few years ago over about 5 months time. A friend on another forum got and completed the upper for me (including the powdercoating), and got me the Palmetto lower. With the glass, I have about $2,100.00 in it. I'm very pleased with how it shoots - nice little clovers @100y with Hornady 123gr AMax box ammo. I didn't get enough glass for it, however. I should have gone with a 4-20x anyway. Here's the info:

    6.5/264 LBC BHW 24" SPR, 3" break
    Steiner SGS3 2-10 x 42 w/cascading Ples reticle
    RRA 2-stage Match trigger
    Vltor upper and handle
    Nickel boron bolt carrier group
    Palmetto Lower
    Fortis 12" Handguard, Magpul grips
Magpul pistol grip and PRS stock
    Harris bipod 9-14" articulating
    Did i miss anything?

It is a beast. Not something you're going to walk around the woods with. 21 lbs & 45" in length. I could probably do with a cheaper and lighter stock. But it's so solid to shoot.

Have you chrono'd it with that ammo yet?

Interested to see what speeds you're getting.
