Yes the 18 inch with comp.Very exited about it.Pennsylvania opened up hunting with semi-auto rifles for the coming new seasons I wanted something that was open to a lot of options game wise.I came across this round on another blog,my buddy has a creed more, but I didn't want to go the AR-10 route yet.The round has great ballistics, and from what I can tell is very inherently accurate.Like the creedmore it looks to be able to reach out.It should be plenty for the hills of PA.

Welcome. I'm new as well and piecing together my first AR, choosing to start in 6.5G. I still have to source a barrel, BCG and gas block to finish mine. Good luck on your build and I have read nothing but glowing reviews of the JP barrels so I'm sure you chose wisely.

finally
Photo on 7-7-17 at 9.22 PM.jpgwell it's built and had to put 80 rounds through a lapped barrel to get it to settle down, these were the last 3 shots at 200 yards.Ican't complain, just over an inch. Now for the handholds. Will try Tac,RL-15 and 2520 first on 120gr cmx's.We'll see.
