What about the walnut stocked version? I have had a deposit on one for a couple of months now.

I Looked at the link and it was for the rustic version. Then went back and checked facebook, which I generally do not follow, and found some questions, and one answer from CZ stating the only ones arriving are walnut stocked., so hoping the one I have on order will be arriving soon.

Sorry about no lefty. About looks, pictures on their website show the 5 rd magazine which sticks way down. I think I heard that it would be provided with a 3 rd flush fitting magazine which will make a trimmer looking rifle. Personally I would like this. They have a picture on facebook, but the angle is not good to see the magazine, but I think it is a 3 rd model.

I got a response from CZ on facebook, they will not be making flush bottom metal. I think that is a mistake, would have made a much nicer looking rifle.

Agreed. If you're going to have a big ugly mag sticking below the bottom why not make one with larger capacity. I feel the same way about the Howa 6.5 magazine

I handled these at SHOT, and they are beautiful little rifles.

People here have been doing conversions from the x39 527s even before I got into 6.5 Grendel. The guy that got me interested in 6.5 Grendel did one with a 22" IIRC.

When they see how responsive demand is, I think the will do that suppressor-ready model in 6.5 Grendel, as well as a target model.

When I put my deposit down for one, I was told that 293 out of the initial order of 300 were committed.

I sure would like to see one with bottom metal and an old conventional magazine with a drop door and all metal bottom.

These clips hanging down on an otherwise slick gun kill the looks for me..... and yes, that does play a part in my purchase.........
