Is this all barrels from the GB or just ones that appear to have the pin protruding?

There has also been mention of loose chambers and by my naked eye, a Hornady SST has about 0.030" - 0.040" of wobble in my GB barrel chamber....

ETA: I do not see a dimple or pin in my chamber....

I don't have the pin issue either but when dropping a round into my chamber it does have some movement. I checked my other Grendels and they had no discernible movement. Even a fired but not resized case will drop into my Faxon where as it won't in my other guns.

For that reason I would like to return mine.

We recommend it, but it is not a safety issue.

        Oops!

In some of the barrels the pin will slightly deform the chamber with an imperceptible bulge causing the "loose" issues. The chambers are machined 100% to SAAMI spec from the reamer spec'ed to Faxon by BFT.

We're thrilled to hear it and look forward to replacing it as fast as we can. Thank you!

THANK YOU FAXON FOR STANDING BEHIND YOUR PRODUCT!!

That barrel maker named after a planet could learn a thing or two about customer service from Faxon Arms.

            ^^^^^^
What he said! These guys are squared away. I got a chance to spend some time with them at SHOT; they have it going on both in terms of products, QC and CS. I own several of their barrels and plan to buy more.

Can you help finance more barrels for me?

Finally got time to rebuild this upper. Hopefully will be able to take it out this weekend to sight in and see how she shoots.

Nice group. I received a shipment today (Thanks BFT) Hope my barrels produce groups like that. On first examination the barrel fits extremely tight in a BCM blem upper, might have to put it in the freezer. Block of wood and a hammer maybe? I'm not fond of using too much force unless needed. Usually a smarter way to accomplish any task.

I had to bed mine with loctite as it wasn't a snug fit like you are describing.

Post man tease today, box came but... it was something for my wife. Your killing me smalls!!! Couldn't shoot it until next week anyway but still would have been fun to get it assembled and check out how everything fits.
