    First Grendel (and post)

Wanted an AR10 for awhile, after reading LRRPF52s threads over on ar15.com and lurking through here a few months decided on going the Grendel route. Super happy with it.

    -Christensen Arms 20" barrel.
-CMC single stage trigger /w KNS pins
    -VLTOR billet upper
    -MI 15" suppressor series mount
-Griffin armament ti minimalist brake for the Recce 7 I've been waiting on since August.
-Steiner T5XI 3-15 with ADM mount.
-Harris Bipod on a GG&G mount

Shoots all the Hornady stuff I've found for it very well. Typical 5 and 10 shot groups with some 123gr SSTs and Hornady Black with 123gr ELDs. Usually at or just a hair under 1 inch at 100yards prone off a bipod. Interested in how well it will start doing with reloads. Just need to pick up the Grendel reloading books and decide on a bullet to start with.

Thanks, liking the optic a lot so far really sharp glass. Got it second hand but according to Steiner its the upgraded turrets they started put in after the bad first batch that got released. Need to do some tracking tests though.
