Thanks, I had looked on the MTM site and their guide had nothing for a 6.5 Grendel.

Look for boxes that fit 7.62X39 or 22 PPC. I use Frankfort 512 also, I've bought several from Whitaker's for $2.50 each.

Grendel is listed down a few pages with the other 6.5s http://www.mtmcase-gard.com/common/2...ox%20Chart.pdf

The standard MTM RS-50's for .223 also work.

Load them in upside down and the internal plastic frame supports the case on the shoulders (bullet is suspended and does not touch the case). It's a snug fit so they don't rattle around. Most compact way to store this calibre in MTM's range.

                    Frankford #1009 works for .223, 6.5G, and .308, holds 100 rounds. Case-Gard RSS-50 and RSS-100 Rifle work well also for 6.5G.

I see alot of people listing 30-30 or 308 boxes.... arent these a lil too tall for the 6.5 Grendel?
Is there not better boxes to fit the 6.5G without having to add foam?

See earlier post...The standard MTM RS-50 for 223 works. It's a close fit so you can use them with, or without a thin piece of foam or cardboard. They certainly don't rattle around like the bigger boxes.

The internal frame supports the rounds by the shoulder so the tips never touch the bottom.

I used the Plano #122850 cartridge boxes for my 6.5 Grendel rounds.

I thought I had posted on this. I recycle the Hornady factory ammo boxes. Can't get much more compact than that, and they are free with purchase of 20 rounds.
