Mini pmag

I noticed something while looking at a pmag today. It's profile is close to the mini mag. Need to sand off some bumps but if the feed lips can be pinched in with a heat gun it might work. Just need to add a filed spot for the mag catch. Worst thing I can do is mess up a $10 pmag. A single feed follower will be easy to make so last shot works.

If this works maybe we should talk to Magpul?

$50 is seriously getting the wennie for a plastic mag.

Or see if Magpul would do a complete bottom plate that would support any standard OEM mag including their own.

Well I tried and failed. But I learned. There are two things making this not possible. 1 is the double stack and 2 is the spring made for a double stack. I'll try to post pics of what I did. I did get it to feed a single round out of the mag but the second just would follow up due to the feed ramp sticking in the narrowed mag. I had to use much less spring pressure and you'll see how I did in the pics when I get them.
