    New Grendel for my wife

The parts were picked out by my wife for the most part. It is what she wanted.

    Parts list:
    16" AA light fluted barrel
    Spikes spider lower
    Spikes LPK
AA hard use bolt and mid length gas tube
    AA pepper pot compensator
    Aero precision forged upper reciever
    Hogue grip and stock
Gun show purchased buffer assembly (to be replaced with JP SCS)
Just received LaRue MBT 2S trigger (will install tomorrow)
Vortex crossfire 1-4x30mm scope with Vortex cantilevered mount
    JP adjustable gas block

    Looks great.

I just put a MBT in my Lilja 318 Grendel as well. Couldn't pass up that last sale for $99.95 with the jig.

If you install the Magpul MOE trigger guard, it will be a lot more comfortable for her. The standard trigger guard hurts if you bear weight on the grip/trigger guard junction.

This is a ten shot group at 50 yards while I was adjusting the gas block. I guess there is no need to worry about breaking it down and bedding the barrel. I shot 2 rounds at 100 yards and created one near perfect hole. Needless to say I am jealous of my wife and her new toy!

Hmm. Didn't he just say "...while I was adjusting the gas block..." and "... I shot 2 rounds at 100 yards ..." ?

Are we even sure you are married, redomen?

I think it a proper point of order that we see a photo of your wife shooting "her" new rifle. Whaddya say, Horde?
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

Sounds like the time I bought my wife a new truck. One of those F150 raptors. It turned out that she didn't like driving a big truck. I got stuck with the truck and she had to drive my old car. Very sad.

HaHa! I might throw in a pic if the hogs show up this weekend and she bags her one!
