    AR Comp vs XBR 8208

I am seeing that AR-Comp pushes the 123 and 129 grain bullets faster in all my 4 different Grendel's than XBR 8208.

For those who shoot both powders, which has the faster velocity in your gun?

    I have 2-- 20's, a- 16 and a 12.75 inch Grendel builds.

AR-Comp seems faster to me , my LabRadar agrees also.

Just trying to get others experience with these 2 powders head to head.

In my 16" gun 8208 was 40 fps faster with seemingly similar pressure levels. Both grouped very well. AR-COMP had a wider accuracy node.

In my JP 22er, my accuracy node with XBR and 123 Scenars was a paltry 2450 and I got pressure signs before I got to the next node. AR Comp's node for that barrel was in the 2560-2580 area with single digit ES's, but I couldn't get it to group better than 3/4 to 1 MOA. I've "settled" for a CFE load at 2550 that is insanely accurate.

Trying it with my 18er and 123 NCCs is on the project list, but the postwoman is delivering my 130 gr Norma Golden Targets tonight and I need to go into production mode with a load I just firmed up for my 308 RPR - a 175 grain RDF going 2660 out of a 20 . My range's 12"er at 800 took some major abuse today
