    Scope Mounts for Howa Mini

Does anyone use either the Warne one-piece base or the EGW one-piece base on the Howa mini? Any advantage to a one-piece as opposed to a two piece base?

Unless the holes in the action are perfectly in line, two piece bases will have the rings out of alignment.

I looked at the egw but found another one to try, 0 or 20 moa: I got the 0 moa.
Outerimpact Howa Mini Action Picatinny Scope Base with 0 MOA...
$42 on amazon. IIRC the egw and warne cost more.

I got the OuterImpact for the Mini and the EGW for the Howa HCS in 6.5 Creedmoor.

I just blasted the finish off the EGW so I can FDE Cerakote it to match the FDE barreled action on the HCS Creedmoor.

They both are well-made mounts. I checked all the dimensions on the OuterImpact since I've never heard of them before, and it's perfectly symmetric as to receiver hole centricity, and edge-to-edge and centered rails.

I got 20 MOA for both since I shoot a lot of long range.

Just ordered the Outerimpact rail...0 MOA. I don't have the long-range availability here in central FL to need the 20 MOA.

    Thanks for your help, everyone!

I ordered the warne, started to order the outerimpact but it was to easy to just add the warne to the ammo order from Brownells. I should have everything mind next week.

I installed a Talley Short Action Howa 1500 Picatinny Base. It fit perfectly and Tally mounts are made right here in South Carolina.

I put the Outerimpact 20 moa on my mini action and am pleased with the fit and finish. I went with the 20 moa rail because if I ever need it the extra moa is there.
