      Thanks!

I'm looking to having it threaded for a muzzle brake. Does any body have suggestions for thread sizing and type brand of brake?

Since it is the HB, 5/8x24. Lots of good brake choices.
The PRS blog has tests on several 6.5, 308 and 6mm brakes and a great series on them.
This post summarizes the results for the recoil tests ran on 20+ muzzle brakes using 6mm and 6.5mm test rifles. To see the full line-up of muzzle brakes tested, check out this post. The recoil data was collected using high-speed, high-resolution force sensors. For more info on the test equipment and how the data was ...

this is one of the links.
Pick among the good ones, I found a couple that work real well.
That being said the grendel is a much easier recoil than most rifles you're familiar with, 270, 7mm, 308, 300's whatever, etc...

Great looking rig! I like the contours of that Boyds stock slot. Have you stretched it out yet?

Thanks grayfox for the link! I will check it out.

Haven't stretched her out yet. Looking forward to hitting long range steel pretty soon.

Congratulations on a great looking gun! Be sure to report back after you get some time in with the ACSS HUD reticle.

That is one sweet setup SuperTap007!
My Grendel action should deliver by tommorow.
Stupid question but do you have to remove barrel for it to be threaded?

I think it depends on the Gunsmith, some of them have the ability to leave the action and barrel together and still line it all up exactly... mine was able to do that.
