    "Grand slam" hunting ideas?

Has anyone here defined or identified what a Grendel "grand slam" might look like...
    Like Grendel whitetail grand slam, 4 whitetail American subspecies;
    or
Grendel American GS, 4 medium (cxp2) American game, (Whitetail, Mulie, Antelope, black bear or ?),
    or
Grendel American Antlers GS, whitetail, Mulie, Antelope, elk..

I'm trying to think of some good candidates for my bucket list.

i kinda think it depends a bit on you motivation if your goal is to illustrate the grendel as a true do everything cartridge or if the goal is to challenge your self as a hunter, either way there is an animal you left of the list... the goat and or sheep if you can get a tag
    Punctuation is for the weak....

      This thread alone saddens me....

Last year I got my bull-moose permit here in Maine, and I had already bagged a turkey in the spring. That summer I sold me 20" Shilen barreled upper for a lightweight build. Long story short I never received a barrel before hunting season kicked in, and I bagged my Grand Slam (210lbs black bear, 846lbs bull moose, and 246 lbs whitetail) with my long range custom R700 260 Rem build.. oh how I wished I could have used my Grendel...

Grendel slam to me is a great idea. I'd be over half way if it was pronghorn, whitetail and mule deer. The 4th is still open to discussion. Ha. Hope we settle this soon. My elk tag goes hot in october. Hope the hoard has a safe and amazing season this fall
Yard work is not an excuse!

My tendency is the antlers one... I'm taking my gr elk hunting in October but a creedmoor also. Don't know if I would try it on a moose.
It's not to prove anything, just looking for a nice goal to shoot for!

          Nice pics Kilco!!

I cant think of any kind of slam without a 250 lb hog in it!

A Grendel Grand Slam could be like the Boy Scouts do Merit Badges to give opportunity depending on where you live. You would have Mule Deer, Coues Whitetail, Eastern Whitetail, Black Tail Deer, Sika Deer, Black Bear, Mountain Lion, Antelope, Caribou, Desert Bighorn, Rocky Mtn Bighorn, Dall Sheep, Stone Sheep, Mountain Goat, Oryx, Barbary Sheep, Ibex, Gray Wolf, Alligator and a monster Hogs. Let's see Grizzly's, Kodiak's, Elk, Bison and Moose would be in a class of their own. Then there are the exotics in Texas.

Bacon bacon!!! Now that I think of it, since hogs are doing so much damage, may just want to have a separate slam for them! Day-hog, NV-hog, bolt and AR? Or trifecta/ hat trick in one night?
That merit badge idea might work also, name your slam kinda thing...

Raccoon, coyote, deer and feral hog is a reasonable "slam" where I hunt.

Hog hunting is on my bucket list, so I like the hog idea a lot. I have harvested 30+ Javelina, but never a real hog. Bolt, bow, muzzleloader and AR. Day, lights, dogs and thermal. Or with each of your favorite AR's: 223 Wylde, 6.5 Grendel and 338 Federal. Texas, Hawaii, Cotton Belt and Florida.

Whitetail, Mule, Antelope, Elk, Coyote, Feral hog. No bears or mountain goats in Kansas, sadly enough they need these "mountain" things, I think they only exist in pictures...

KS, you only get 4 for a grand slam!! lol.
Take the buffet special and pick any 4 from the list.
AZ your tag line is hilarious!!

Me, I think I'm going to do some kind of antlers slam. Maybe add in Alaskan Caribou?

You could do Oryx in Texas too.

That was a very good animal to take out of the breeding herd so in a way you were doing them a favour by giving your 6.5G a workout
