    Matched bolt or not

Putting together a tackdriver 6.5 g and ordering the barrel has the option to buy a jp bolt and the barrel will be matched. Been told accuracy can be improved but is it really worth it over just buying a standard 6.5 bolt. Would accuracy really improve.

If given the opportunity to buy a bolt that is headspaced to a barrel, you should. With that said, all JP bolts will be the same spec so a barrel isn't going to be headspaced to an individual bolt - just to a JP bolt, so you could shop around. Don't know what your looking at, but X-caliber's pricing for JP bolts seems to be a little in the high side, especially if you also plan to go with a JP carrier. JP bolts are pricey, but they are the creme de la creme.

      It's X caliber and that's why I ask.

I would call them. If they are actually checking the individual bolt and barrel it's probably worth the few extra bucks for peace of mind to get a JP from them.
