12.5" Ballistic Advantage / Aero Precision SBR

Alright folks, here's my first visual contribution. My first personally built AR upper:

-Aero Precision complete upper with 12" MLOK Handguard, Factory FDE
    -Ballistic Advantage 12.5" Hanson Barrel
    -KAK Flash Can
    -BCM Charging Handle
    -Toolcraft 6.5 Grendel BCG
    -Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x

If I can get a batch of reliable 25 round magazines, this will definitely be my favorite rifle.

You'll love the Gr in a 12.5" barrel... It's what I use for my HD gun. So maneuverable in hallways but more energy than a 20" 5.56 shooting Mk262...

How do you like the Vortex Strike Eagle on this rifle?

I have one on a 16" 5.56 and like it but will probably end up on my 12" Faxon group buy barrel.

I absolutely love it. Obviously it’s heavier than a red dot but in my opinion still works very well for close up, rapid acquisition and covers longer distances the caliber can easily handle. It’s probably the most “well rounded” rifle I own; and I’m building another lightweight version with a group buy 12” Faxon as well.

Very nice. I just ordered a BA Hanson 12.5 and VG6 brake, going on a BA upper and using a BA BCG when they come in. Using a recently ordered Geissele Mk14 on a Aero "pistol" lower with a SB Tactical PDW brace. Still haven't decided on scope. Will be getting a Geissele scope mount.

Ordered a lightweight 10.5” handguard from Midwest Industries this weekend to complete its 12” Faxon barreled brother. Excited to make it a pair!

Exactly the FDE and black combo look I'm gonna do. Like it!
