    My first Grendel build

Just put this together last week. After barrel break in, I was hitting sub moa all day long. At 100 yards, it was one ragged hole. At 567 yards I was keeping the strings within 4 inch groups consistently. What a difference from my 223 build. Going to the Grendel was a great decision.

    Specs:
    18 inch X-Caliber stainless 1 in 8 bull barrel
Midwest Indusries 12 inch free float handguard
Timney 3 lbs single stage trigger
    Anderson Manufacturing upper/lower
    Warne 20 MOA mount
Vortex 6.5x20x44 scope (I'll be putting on the Vortex HST 6x24x50 in the spring)

Nice build. Be a chore to lug around but as long as you are stationary, sounds like a solid shooter.

Very very nice looking rifle!! Barrel looks sexy.

MI make my favorite handguards, I like the mounting syste. Of the new ones better than my Gen 2.

That scope will surprise you. I have the exact same one on my M77 Hawkeye Varmint in 204 Ruger. Tracks well, and the glass is very good for the price.

Nice build, I am currently putting one together with Anderson upper and lower.
I am very impressed so far with the fit and finish and for under 70.00 for both.

I got the BCG from https://www.grendelhunter.com/produc...carrier-group/

It's black nitride and has the bolt from Maxim Firearms so I thought it would be a quality product.

Nice looking rifle! I have that same scope on one of my rifles and love it. In for the range report.
