    My first Grendel

    Howa barreled mini action, MDT chassis, EGW 20 MOA rail and Burris rings, Bushnell Elite FFP G2DMR 6x24 scope.....I will be upgrading stock to either a XLR or Odin Works....really like it so far...DSCN0422.JPGDSCN0423.JPG

            A bolt that rotates 120 degrees should provide enough camming action to extract.
            A different barrel extension would probably be needed as well as a solid bolt.

            A short bolt that only extends to the back of the firing pin would allow rotation to slide sideways along the hammer face.
            Pulling the bolt back recocks the hammer, as usual.

            I think this could be done rather easily.
            A modified receiver, barrel and bolt should be all that is necessary.

            An AR with gas tube removed can be used as a straight pull bolt action without the camming action to extract.

              Then could also use regular mags. Things are always easier for the person NOT doing the work but it could be do-able!
