They have too long a lead time for the stainless fluted that I wanted, so I bought the melonited 16" upper kit. Hundred bucks more but comes with gas tube and block and assembled upper and charge handle, bet I don't get any sweetness tonight, too bad.

You got the 16" Extreme LW kit? I am thinking about picking that up and selling off the upper receiver to recoup some of the $. How does it shoot?

I have a fluted 16" light weight that shoots even the cheap Wolf rather well. Here is a pic of a box of Wolf on a 12" x 16" target at 420 yrd.



I just tried out a 24" Bear creek, it doesn't play well with the wolf, Still need to test it with factory Hornady
