What kind of scope mount do I need?

      Yeah, that's the way I look at it. Who has ever needed more "down" on their reticle?

      If it costs the same (or not much more) and you may someday try reaching out past a few hundred yards it's always worth it to go with a +moa base.

      And to the post that said you can't see any difference; with a 20moa base, if the rings are 6" apart one is only about 1/32" higher than the other. Can't see it; you'd have to carefully measure to detect the difference.

            I personally use 20 MOA cant on my mounts mostly though, but my focus is more on banging steel plates at distance, with hunting coming a distant 2nd behind that.

            We have longer average distances where I live, so things within 600yds are just not much of a challenge to hit unless you go below a 2 MOA target.
