    Mini action Bore guide

I just picked up a mini action in 6.5 Grendel. When I went to clean it up none of my generic bore guides fit the small diameter of the action any suggestions on where to find one, Part # please as I've talked to Brownell Tech and they had no idea.

Not quite the same as a purpose built guide but take a fired case, deprime and drill out primer hole for a cleaning rod to pass through.

That is my next project. I'll drill out a case and solder it to length of copper/brass pipe and make my own bore guide.

They make custom bore guides for most any bolt action rifle.

          Thanks, Dinny

I found the solution a Possum Hollow bore guide custom made for the Howa 1500 mini action. I used mine yesterday; it fits perfectly and the O-ring seal keeps all the cleaning fluids in the bore where it belongs.

To order them, they are not yet in the catalog Eric, the owner of Possum Hollow said:

"They can call me @321-338-7757 or on my cell @260-377-9715" The #325 is for the Mini in 223 and the #326 is made just for the Mini in 6.5 Grendel.

I recommend you add a solvent port to add solvent, they also have a guide for the CZ rifles and Cars.

Thank you, I had left a message with Eric at Possum Hollow last week and he got back to me yesterday but I didn't see it until this morning.

Thank you for all the help, I should have one on the way tommorrow.

It was $20 delivered, including a couple of spare o-rings.

I should say I already had a solvent port I got from Midway for $8.00.
