Burris XTR tactical rings should fit the bill.

These are for a bolt action hunting rifle with a standard 2 piece weaver scope mount.

I found Vortex sells some but their web site suggests to “lap” them before use, not sure how good they are.

Looks like it is Burris or Vortex then....

I always start by looking @ SWFA and cross reference by looking on Midway USA and Optics Planet.

The rings I mentioned would be too high for a bolt action in cheek down mode.

There is however a space underneath the mount through which open sights may be visible as a backup.

I originally bought these mounts because of their thickness and width (front to back) which improves rigidity.

I just mounted a one piece Warne base and 30 mm fixed rings on a Howa Mini and will sight in my pipe this afternoon.Seems like a solid system to me.

Another vote for the Burris XTR Rings. I have them on several rifles and really like them. Good solid rings.

Burris xtr on the budget side, seekins if you don't mind spending more.

Well ended up buying Vortex rings with 6 screws per ring and they are too long for the mount on my 2 piece Weaver style scope mount! This is the only rifle I own that has the 2 piece Weaver style base and they don’t make a one piece picatinny.

Thinking of these Leopold....they have 4 screws and should fit...

                      Those should work.

Go with the Burris Signature, med, high, extra high. The inserts will grab your scope, no ring marks ...ever. We started testing for 1,000 yd matches them when they came out 20 years back? These or the newer XTR, which I see no need for will become the only rings you use.
