    First Build, First Grendel

First AR build, first Grendel. Built this baby to be my new deer rifle, super excited about getting it out this season!

Upper and Lower - AeroPrecision Matched Set
    LPK- CMMG
Grip - Hogue (I know the green is weird, but it glows in the dark and its pretty cool)
Trigger - CMC 3.5lb Single Stage Drop In
    Buffer - AeroPrecision Buffer Kit
    Stock - Magpul MOE

Forward Assist, Ejection Port Door, Charging Handle - AeroPrecision
Handguard - AeroPrecision Quantum 15" Mlok
Barrel - 18" AR Performance SPR w/ Rifle length gas
Bolt - AA Hard Use Grendel Bolt
Then just a standard A2 FH from PSA

Scope is a Redfield Battlezone Tactical 3-9x42 that I've had for a couple years, took it off my 5.56. Most likely going to be switched to a Vortex Diamondback Tactical 4-12 soon unless anybody has any other suggestions.

Should be a fun deer season here in Texas. Let me know what you guys think! Thoughts and suggestions are welcome for sure!

Very nice build!!! Love the looks of it too.. have you had a chance to do some shooting with it?

Most reports say those ARP barrels are tack drivers.

Thanks Kilco! I haven't had a chance to yet, I want to bad. I'm itching to as soon as I can though! Gonna run 123gr eld-m to start with and move to SSTs for hunting, we'll see how it likes them. Those are the only two loads I can find in stock anywhere near me right now

No orange grip, the green one glows in the dark, and the description said it helped kill zombies soooo.. made sense right? Thank you though, I appreciate it

In most states only the hunter needs to wear fluorescent orange, not the gun. Good idea though.

Beware of those SST's great for headshots, but hard on body shots.
