    In from North Texas

    Howdy all.

I recently acquired a 6.5 Grendel upper for my AR15 and figured I might avoid reinventing the wheel if I joined in here. I purchased the upper because I thought I might be able to be a little rougher on the hogs where I hunt than I can with my 5.56, even stoked with 60-grain Partitions.

I learned handloading from the time I was a sprout in the middle 60s, but began to actually practice it in the early 80s. And it's been all downhill from there!

So...please be tolerant if I ask dumb questions. I'll try to keep that down to no more than two or three dozen per day.

    Thank you, gentlemen.

John, that would be Wise County at present. I hunt Throckmorton County.

No dumb questions will be tolerated here.

If you have any dumb questions search the forum and you will find they already been asked and answered.

As for me, I will always be ready to provide dumb answers to any dumb questions.

Sometimes the dumb idea from years ago is now the most sensible idea. Times change.

    Welcome.

Thank you gentlemen, I've made myself right at home in the Reloading area. As I venture forth and break stuff and encounter mysteries of my own making, I'm sure I'll haunt other areas also. I'm still trying to work up a hog load, and it's really slow going with deer season in full swing and the holidays. First world problems...are good!
