What is the skinny on CDI bottom metal? Does it fit Boyds stocks? What mags does it use? etc.

Just got mine back a few weeks ago.

Jeff is using the AICS 308 magazine platform, so the required inlet is substantially bigger. I sent him my Boyd's stock for inletting (free)

It works great. The only thing to keep in mind is that the AICS magazine is substantially longer than the action itself. In other words, while there is a huge amount of room in the magazine for a long OAL, you can't use all of it. Otherwise, the bullet tips will get stuck under the feed ramp when the mag is inserted into the rifle.
