Just do away with the mag and make it flush with a dropping floor plate like bolt actions have had forever.

I dont want flush with a dropping floor plate. I want something that is more of an industry standard and allows for 5 and 10 round mags. It sounds like AR, and most other double feed mags are out of the question. If LSI cant figure out a solution, i've always got the CDI AICS bottom metal route I can take, but i'd love to see what the mag ideas they're working on look like.
