From what I have seen this will require a revisit to the current synthetic stocks and all the AM that use the factory bottom plate. Boyds is off on their jig for both the action and the bottom plate, and there was another member that had what appeared to be the OE stock was also out of plane on the bottom plate.

I have looked at this, and mini 14 mags will not work, they are too wide for the receiver. It will need to be a single feed magazine.

Just picked mine up, now... if only the rest of my parts were here. Going to start with a boyds pro varmint stock, outerimpacts 20 MOA rail, vortex precision rings, and a vortex viper PST gen II 3-15x44.

Why not an ar15 pattern mag like the Elander’s.

Edited to add: if CDI can fit aics pattern mags, which are .975” at the rear and .858” at the front, surely an ar15 pattern mag could be made to work. Or just use the aics pattern mags on the Grendel’s, then we can get ten rounders.

also looked at this, the feed lips are too wide to allow the magazine to sit deep enough, to allow the bolt to pick up a round. the double stack columns do little to help that.

Just do away with the mag and make it flush with a dropping floor plate like bolt actions have had forever.
