I wonder how he feels about putting the weight of the general suppressor on the ends of AR15 barrels? it must be a very large effect on harmonics. it seemed like in the last video that a larger weight on the end was what he was looking for effectively. nice videos

          Thanks for the videos!

Gives me something to look at with one of my problem children...
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?

I wonder if clocking a brake slightly would work as well as the flash hider. Odin Atlas would be very easy to do. I may give this a shot on my next outting.

The front sight I added to my Howa. This must affect harmonics.

I have to test this a bit more.

I watched these last nite. Interesting presentation.
I can think of a couple of questions that they raise in my mind... my "analytical side" I guess!

There may be something to this...well I am sure there is.

My groups on my Neptune VIII have been getting progressively worse and worse. Aggravating when I would upon occasion shoot a .25" five shot group, now I can barely keep them under an inch.

I noticed yesterday when I was packing up that the sleeve on my Odin Atlas 6.5 had rotated to the left a few degrees (12:30ish). I straightened it out, but did not test the theory as the rifle was the last thing to get put up (target stands, targets, shooting mat...). I will post an update when I take her back out. This might be part of my headache with finding reloads that work well, and frustration in my shooting. Might also be time to take her completely down, clean, reassemble and bed.

nobody on the effects of a suppressor on harmonics? I mean its gotta be huge and somehow adjustable for best accuracy or maybe not,,,,,

Suppressors definitely affect barrel whip harmonics acting as a whip dampener.

Depending on how square and true all the components of the suppressor are, they can enhance or degrade accuracy based on how consistently they resonate with the barrel and receiver, as well as how they control gas flow behind and around the bullet as it passes through each chamber between the muzzle and baffles.
