    Couldn't resist the deal

Picked up a SWFA SS 3-15 FFP over the turkey day sales 532.39 delivered. Never seen a SWFA scope in person, bought it based on price and all the reviews I've read. Mostly Leupold up to this point. Anyone using one around here with feedback. Will post up a review if it hasn't already been done.

I've had mine for several years now and it tracks true and has very good optical qualities. A great value at this price point IMO.

I have SWFA 10X, 16X and 20X. I bought another 16X on Monday with their sale.
Tracking is excellent. All MilQuad/Mil except the 20X which is MilDot/MOA.

          Is yours MOA or Mil?

The quad reticle is very nice. I like it better than the MilDot.

MOA/MOA, used to be an appleseed instructor so the brain is already programmed that way. Thought about maybe a MIL scope later. Might pick up a straight 10 and a HD variable later, which those only come in MILS. Pretty impressed with it so far, couple more parts to get and it will be on the rifle. Then the fun begins

I picked up 3 SWFA scopes a couple years ago.
The SS 5x20 HD is on my Tikka .308 Sporter.
              A SS 3x15 on a CZ 455. I have used it a couple times
I have a SS 3x9 HD waiting to go on the 18" Grendel I am building.

If you have bad luck with Butler Creek caps, http://www.aadmount.com/ makes some outstanding caps, but they are $100/set

I have a piece of tape on my Butler Creek scope covers between the cap and the scope.
They don't fall off now. Scotch tape seems to work well with minimal goo.
