Been lurking on the site for a short while, lots of good info. Looking forward to getting to know the Grendel a bit better here in the near future. Getting together the parts now. Will post up some pics when the build is done.

Welcome to the forum JJA Guns. It will be interesting to see how you respond to the AR15 in 6.5 Grendel. Do you have much experience with the AR15 platform?

5 years in the military as a 12B, been building firearms for 20+ years. Mostly bolt actions, pistols, and revolvers. Been a fulltime gunsmith since 2010. Have built plenty of customer AR's, just now getting into them as personal firearms though.

We are pretty close neighbors. It's just three hours over the mountain and two crossings over international borders I'm right where 395 hits Canada. If you ever make it to Spokane let me know. I go there about once a month.

I'm about 5 miles from the border crossing in Eastport. Was in Spokane last week looking at a 45-120 Shiloh. Thanks everyone, glad to be here.
