    Alex-A 16" 123 Nosler/ 31.4 CFE /Lapua Brass /Tula556M primer /2380 FPS /.152 MOA /@35F/ES 13.

Pretty wide node from 31.0 - 31.4 with this barrel. YMMV, work up carefully.

I’ve used 31.7 CFE with CCI41 primer in Hornady brass with excellent accuracy, low SD’s and 2550 in long throated Bartlein and 2650 in short throated 24” Satern barrel. Have dropped back to 31.6 to preserve brass, could reign in a little further to 31.4 if short throated chamber. Hornady tool will tell you what you need to hold to hit lands. I usually run at 2.26 OAL, but could go longer with ASC mags. If you buy Nosler seconds, segregate by ogival length-they will vary a good bit, lot to lot. If you don’t, you might be disappointed with results and consistency.

Thank you guys. These were given to me, so I'm just trying to put together a steel punching load, not super concerned with trying to make a quarter minute load.

29.5 to 30.5 made a group that measured .48 minutes @ 100 yards. group really opened up above that. so i think i'll do 30gr and call it good. thanks guys!
