6x45mm AR-Stoner 20" Barrel, HBAR Contour, Stainless Steel. RCBS 6x45 SB Dies

Time to build something else. Here is a 6x45 package deal.

I've had this barrel a couple years and put about 400 rounds through it. It has been reliable and accurate. 1-8 twist, 5R rifling. I've shot everything from 55 to 90 grain bullets through it. Here is the description from the Midway site:
    Gas Tube Length: Rifle Length
    Gas Block Diameter: 0.750"
    Muzzle Thread: 9/16"-24
Muzzle Thread Engagement Length: 0.620" with a tolerance of .005"
    M4 Feed Ramps: Yes

I'll include an Alexander Arms A2 Flash Suppressor and crush washer

RCBS AR series small base 6x45 dies. Great shape

    WFT case trimmer for 6x45.

I'll take $225 shipped for everything. Here are the pics. Reduced to $215 shipped. SOLD!

How do you make or where to find the brass?
And what speeds/accuracies did you get from various bullets/loads?
How much does the barrel weigh?
    thanks.

I didn't know about this wildcat until now. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6%C3%9745mm
I had this idea when I had a Mini-14 in the '70s; I thought that necking the .223 up to .24 or .25 would make the cartridge more useful.

I'd buy this barrel but don't have the cash right now.

Brass is simple. Any .223 or 5.56 brass will work. Simply run it through the sizing die and there ya go. Brass length, shoulder angle, etc is all the same. The beauty of this caliber is it can use regular 5.56 magazines and bolt. It is simply a barrel change.

Very accurate, no problem shooting sub MOA with most loads. It really liked 55gr Nosler Varmageddon. It would shoot those almost 3,300 fps. Blows up critters right now.. Sierra 90 gr FMJBT would go around 2,700 fps. This really is a sweet barrel. I believe it was made by Saturn.

Can't give you an exact weight. Right now it is screwed into an Aero Precision enhanced upper receiver. Barrel, receiver and flash suppressor weigh 3 pounds, 11 ounces.

Thanks for the info! Always shopping on a new project... but for now I gotta let this one ride.
          It does intrigue me though!
Never liked the 243 Win much, couldn't get it to do much for me.
But I have some 6mm bullets still, so maybe one day............

I'll entertain trades but don't want to split the package.

                Thanks!

Well, things I've got include, 1" and 30"" ar scope mounts, Redfield and Nikon. Have a bunch of 30 cal Hdy blem bullets, 150 and 165 sp, 168 amax, I've got a whole list of guns on here and a couple scopes plus another scope, Varix II 3-9. Probably a bunch of other stuff, anything you need? You don't have a 9/16 to 5/8 adapter do you? I hate that odd size.

I may have a use for a 30mm scope mount. I'll PM you. I don't have a thread adapter but an A2 flash suppressor and crush washer is included with the barrel.

Last price reduction to $205 shipped. The $5 bucks is to let me feel like the shipping is being offset a bit.

                          And SOLD!

204, precision armament sells those adapters, I got one myself for a build, worked great.
M11 & M41 Severe-Duty™ Muzzle Brakes: Engineered for 1/2-28 or 9/16-24 barrels. Easy install, perfect alignment, superior heat resistance.

I think Brownells also sells them but PA makes 'em.

my own $0.02 there will be some tolerance stacking, so if you do a MB get one for 30 cal just to be safe. You only lose about 1% effectiveness.

Gawd this place has a wealth of info if you poke around enough. Now my 24” 6x45 BHW barrel with 1/2”threads arriving tomorrow can wear a VG6 6.5. And now I’ll hopefully never miss witnessing Mr. 70 gr Varmageddon introducing himself to Mr P-dog
