I guess I am officially a Grendel owner. The Bolt came in today, so I swapped it with the 223 Bolt in a PSA BCG and installed BCG In the rifle...and it's done...
New Grendel done...

Thanks guys. Its kind of a budget build...so I am sure it is not up to par with what many builds here are.
Austkare, the trigger is a CMC I purchased from black Friday or cyber Monday deals (can't remember which) for less than $100. Its pretty good for the price. I prefer a Timney, but I doubt I will ever see a Timney for less than $100. Very similar feel between the two. The CMC has a little more creep, and does not have set screws like Timney (so the CMC needs anti-walk pins...which they supply).
I have a 3-9x40 Nikon prostaff I will move to it from my .223 for now. Another black Friday/cyber Monday deal (less than $100 from Cabela's).

Very happy with its performance for the price. I fired about two and a half boxes through it at he beginning of this long weekend. Definitely think it's going to be a good hunting rifle.Last edited by Sean Boburk; 12-27-2017, 02:17 PM.

I sat down and tried to figure out how much I had in it. Looks like (if I have everything), with the CMC trigger, but no optics/mount, $625 (does not include shipping and taxes, where applicable). So $525 without the trigger. A lot was black Friday/cyber Monday purchases.
I look forward to trying it out when the wind is not blowing 20 MPH and with a more stable support for the gun. I think the range has lead sleds you can borrow.
