Grendel appears very similar to 6.5 Arisaka, 6.5x55 Swede

as far as loading data and range performance in 20" Grendel barrel vs longer military barrels for the Arisaka and Swede.
Both military calibers have been used extensively on bear, deer, elk and moose over the years.
Interesting that in the year 2017, we are enamored with this wonderful 6.5 round.

6.5 Grendel and 6.5x54 M-S are about the closest ballistic equivalents when looking at barrel length and muzzle velocity.

The Grendel has always been very accurate. The intended goal for handloading new powder and bullet combinations is to develop a Grendel loading that will kill as well as the Swede.

It is too bad that 6.5x55 Swedish tracer bullets don't seem to be available.
They would be nearly ideal for loading up some 6.5 Grendel tracer ammo.
