Added this on the post for Prayers for Nugginfutz but here is my current status.
Me I am still awaiting my bypass surgery seeing specialists trying to make sure my body can take the surgery, so David's surgery experience hits close.
Please say your prayers for David. I will up this thread about me when there is an update other than above.
For those of the horde who remember, this thread was started because a valued member, kmon, was camped at death’s door for quite a few days. Against the odds, he mounted a comeback recovery and is now healthy enough for his bypass surgery. Tomorrow morning, he undergoes his procedure, and I would like to lift him up in prayer. May his surgeon’s hand be steady and true, and his recovery smooth and uneventful.
If it's true that we are here to help others, then what exactly are the others here for?
Well, the first bit of news was just sent to me via text. His surgery went well, lasting just over an hour, and the doctors are hopeful he will recover without the use of a defibrillator. More to come as I hear it...

Got out of ICU about 10 this morning. This afternoon they removed the dranage tubes, cathater and wires for internal dfib. Making headway. On the white board expecting discharge date of 5/6/18.
I just got a phone call from kmon, himself. While everything hurts, he is out of ICU, disconnected from most of the tubes and on track for discharge on the 6th of May. (Lucky old fart.)
