A while back, my Magnetospeed Sporter started showing some unusual velocities and error messages. Sent an email to them and Ryan gave me some troubleshooting tips and asked some pertinent questions. I finally sent it back to them and they looked it over, determined that there were issues and sent me back a new one which I received yesterday. Never asked about where or when I bought it (Cabela's about a year ago).
