Looking at their reload data (Nosler) The fastest they are getting a 129gr is 2507 with 31.0 grains of CFE, so that is hopeful, but the accuracy is with IMR4166 plodding along at 2338 fps.

Running mock numbers through JBM with 2350 based on the accuracy speed on the 129, I am not seeing a huge plus for the cost. And if it is that good a BC, that thing is going to be looooong based on the 140gr.

Now if someone could get those up to 2450 and good accuracy using the new Alliant Powder Pro (Varmit or 2000MR) then it might be worth it.

    Catchy sig line here.

I got some 130 rdf blems from SPS this week and it measured 1.336" in length. In comparison Nosler 123 and 140 Custom comps were 1.205 and 1.306 .

Then they should have no problem fitting in Grendel - just measured some 129 Nosler ABLRs and 130 gr Norma GTs and they both come in around 1.37. Do you have a comparator to measure base to ogive?

Grafs also has an SKU for them on their site https://www.grafs.com/retail/catalog...roductId/76343

Anyone got a photo of these? Not even the resellers are showing photos.

.681 is what I got with the Hornady Comp.
also I remeasured OAL with 5 bullets and the Hornady Anvil Base and got 1.327 ave. My first measurement must have been wonky or I had a funky meplat.

You sure that’s right? I get .752 with an ABLR, .787 with a Norma GT and even .735 with a 123 Scenar. That would be a short bearing surface and long sleek nose. Plenty of room to play around with COAL, hopefully get near the lands and maybe less case intrusion too. Could be zippy for a 130. Kind of making my head spin lol.

Nosler sells them in their pro shop. I have a few hundred of the 6mm RDF seconds. I haven't done much load development with them but my early results are telling me to stick with Berger VLD's. Every cartridge and every gun is different though so maybe your results will be different.

I thought it was off too but that's what I kept getting. This thing is a needle compared to the Custom Comps .

That is sleek! It’s just missing a racing stripe and a spoiler.

Looks like it might be tough to get close to the lands in Grendel, though. A lot of guys out there say RDFs don’t necessarily need to be close (I’ve heard claims of 0.08 off for the 140s), but off the top of my head, I think I’m seating 0.02 off with both the 140s and 308 175s. Looking forward to hearing what you find.

McClarren, Ferrari, Lamborghini. Very sleek indeed.
