Maybe someone will come to the rescue and make use a DBM or even a chassis, if so it should work for both the grendel and 7.62x39, I'd just have to use AR mags rather than mini-30's. I'm pretty happy with my 7.62x39, it will shoot milsurp into 1.5-2.5 groups and my hand loads are hovering around .6-.7 moa.

Modular Driven Technologies, are you out there?

Side note, I'd bet Ruger will also have a .224 Valkyrie soon, perfect time to begin development if any one is listening.

CDI makes bottom metal for Ruger American rifles with either factory stocks or Boyds.

      Thanks, Dinny

Seems Ruger got a lot of things right. If the bottom metal is detachable from the stock and can be inlet into a new stock, it'll be a home run. Kind of makes me regret ordering my Howa now.... AR or AICS Mags is a HUGE benefit in my book.

just called CDI and they will inlet boyd stocks for there bottom end for the cost of the parts....ship them stock and they will call and charge you and when done ship it back..... sounds like a good deal for me since I have earlier Ruger predator in 6 Creed that uses regular ruger rotary mags.....Thanks dinny...

Yeah, likewise. Might get the 9mm too though since I'm picking up a Security 9 anyway.

Put a nice wood stock, steel trigger guard, and a shorter, or better still flush magazine, and finally remove the rail on top and I might think about one. For the time being I will stick with my CZ 527 American

I checked and MDT already has a chassis for the Ruger American. Don't know if the dimensions of the Ruger American Predator (RAP) 65G are the same.

Of all the chassis out there, I think the MDTs look the coolest. I'm not mounting night vision or laser designator so I neither need nor want a top rail over the barrel of a bolt gun.

I just went to Ruger website looking for a release date ,but found nothing. Does anyone have any inside info, or is there a certain time of year new models are released like with the automotive industry? Sorry if this is a dumb question.

I googled Ruger 26922 and a few websites show the rifle but don't have any in stock. I would expect them fairly quickly.

Ruger updated their web site on this. The picture now shows a metal Grendel mag and the description specifically states "Metal AR-Style". Maybe they are reading this forum I should be notified as soon as the distributors get them in stock as I have one reserved.

How long has Howa been working on a magazine change? Ruger made it happen in mere weeks.....

                              Thanks, Dinny
