    Bad groups with BL-C2

Just a PSA. The Hornady X volume has a load for 123s and BL-C2. It just gave buck shot patterns instead of groups in my rifle. I did have good luck with AR-Comp as others have noted here.

My BCA 16 inch stainless barreled upper gave me about 1 MOA when I did my part.

    ErrikS,

What range was your Min./Max charges for the 123 and BLC2. I found a node with BLC2 for my 20” but was at a lower fps than 23.8gr. of 8208 with the same bullet. Might also check that something vibrated loose on your Rifle.

Got up to 29.5gr, never better than 2MOA. AR-Comp worked well and showed real potential.

My 308win AR10 loves the stuff, slow but little groups for me.

Grendel can be picky about powders it seems, mine does excellent with BLC-2 and AR Comp but not so good with CFE.

I got back out with it today. It did ok on my second trip. I think the bad groups were me. I got consistent 1.2 MOA from the BL-C2 but saw sub MOA from AR-Comp. As others have noted here, 27.6 grains of AR-Comp seems to be the ticket.
