    #11 Thermal 350 yards... 6.5 Grendel

I held off on posting this video until I went back this am to locate the hog. I watched them for about an hour and they never got any closer. The woodline is 485 yards and I figured the hogs were at least 100 yards this side... my range estimation was in the neighborhood of 350 yards. I had no real idea of a hold but figured 25" should put me minute of lung.

Last night I simply did not realize he went behind a clump of trees about 75 yards this side of the woodline as I thought he had came towards me some after the shot, and last night I was about 40 yards shy of the area I searched. But looking at the video last night when I got home I knew right where to go... and he was only 10 or 15 yards inside the woods. Looking at the video my first shot must have been on... he's obviously hurt when he reappears.

He's a big one, made for a big target.

Took a pic of the entry... good solid hit. This is my longest hog kill to date... lucky... perhaps.

That impact sound on the first shot seems to indicate you had a solid hit.
