    Howdy

Hey all! Got curious about the 6.5 Grendel, found my way here. Into guns but know absolutely nothing about this round. Looking to learn and don't worry about making it simple. My wife doesn't! Hope to learn a lot!

Welcome to the forum, from Nevada. Best way to accomplish your goal would be to do what you are probably already doing; start reading. In various threads, you’ll learn the history and development of the round, it’s various uses, who sells parts, and who uses it for the same activities you intend to engage in. There’s a search function, so you can see all the discussion threads that include your various keywords. If that doesn’t give you the specifics you seek, you need only pose a question in the appropriate category, and wait for the replies that will inform you. Really, this is a tremendous resource.

Welcome to the forum forecaster. The 6.5 Grendel in an AR15 is ideal for small to medium game and really is well suited for rounders of pigs.
